Karen Karp, founder and president of Karen Karp & Partners, was interviewed for a short film called “Farm Bill: No Food Aid, No Problem?” for the InsideOut PTV network.

In the film, Karen discusses the decision by the US House of Representatives to pass a version of the new farm bill that excludes the food assistance stamp program, and explains in detail why we are not ready for that step yet.

Karen feels that while in an ideal situation, there may be a reason to separate these two issues — food and farm — we aren’t currently there, and she explains what we need to do to get that point.
