Implementation & Capacity
Even the best plans don’t implement themselves.

At KK&P, we roll up our sleeves and work alongside clients through the day-to-day, sometimes unglamorous, and always essential work of making things happen, whether it’s launching a new program, placing the leader who’ll run it, building the internal capacity to sustain it, or convening the stakeholders who need to get behind it. Our implementation work is almost always informed by research we’ve done or strategy we’ve helped build, which means we bring everything we’ve learned about you, your organization, your community, and your food system to the work of getting things done, one step at a time.

What We Do

Our Implementation & Capacity work spans a range of methods and approaches, including:

  • Recruitment & Staffing: full-service recruiting, placing talent across the food system, including defining the role, building and cultivating the candidate pool, conducting interviews, structuring the offer, and coaching and supporting employers every step of the way
  • Program Launch & Coordination: designing, developing, and managing the operational launch of new programs, curricula, and initiatives
  • Organizational Effectiveness: performance management, staff training, restructuring, capacity building, and coaching to strengthen organizations from the inside
  • Facilitation & Convening: designing and leading summits, workshops, learning journeys, and stakeholder engagement sessions that move groups toward action
  • Technology Solutions: developing, implementing, and advising on technology tools that make food systems work better, including our own FoodTrails platform
