KK&P has been working with the Carnation, WA-based Carnation Farms since 2023 in a range of capacities. Our first assignment was to recruit the farm’s inaugural Director of Regenerative Agriculture and provide six months of coaching support to help the new hire succeed. In 2024, we led an effort with the Culinary Director and others to develop a business and operations plan for renovating Carnation Farms’ historic farmstand, presented a plan to reorganize the culinary department for deeper engagement with farmstand operations, and assembled a design-build team. In 2025 and 2026, we coordinated the production of the farm’s first two Impact Reports, serving as writers, editors, and project managers, a role that is ongoing. Our work has contributed to the agriculture department being the first to meet the strategic business and financial goals of the farm overall; the installation of a butcher counter to feature the farm’s animal products; and the impact reports have led to, in summer 2026, multi-year, multi-million-dollar funding commitments for the agriculture department.
