Brian De Corte

Analyst

Brian brings a systems perspective to his work at KK&P informed by a background working across the food and agriculture sectors, including farm planning with agricultural producers, fundraising and development consulting, and owning and operating a vermicompost business. Brian earned his master’s in Sustainable Food Systems from the University of Colorado in 2019. 

Since joining KK&P in 2020, Brian demonstrates a passion for identifying and evaluating food system development opportunities to enhance community resilience and well-being. Over the years, Brian has supported KK&P projects across Appalachia and the Northeast U.S., focusing on food security, local and regional food systems, and workforce development. 

Brian lives in Colorado where, alongside his work at KK&P, he runs a freelance fundraising and development consultancy for food and agriculture nonprofits. Outside of work, you can find him with his hands in the soil or exploring the Rocky Mountains.
