NY Hall of Science
20 March 2017

The New York Hall of Science (NYSCI), located in Queens, NY, has engaged Karen Karp & Partners to identify, recruit and select a new foodservice operator for its dining operations. NYSCI is a hands-on, educational experience that fosters science-based curiosity and creativity. Founded at the 1964-65 World’s Fair, NYSCI has evolved into New York’s center for interactive science, serving a half million students, teachers, and families every year.

KK&P has analyzed the current foodservice operations at NYSCI and developed a Request for Proposals that aligns with the museum’s mission and goals for its food and beverage programs. The RFP is the result of thorough interviews with and recommendations from various stakeholders, an evaluation of the core facilities, and implementation of high-quality foodservice operator criteria. KK&P will manage the RFP process and make operator recommendations to NYSCI that aim to increase the local reputation of the museum’s food programs, increase the availability of regionally sourced and whole-food options, and meet the fiscal goals of the museum.

We are accepting RFP submissions from experienced food service operators. See below for full information and application form. For more information, please email christophe@kkandp.com.
