Karen Karp & Partners is proud once again to be co-producing the annual James Beard Foundation Food Conference, taking place this year at the Convene Conference Center in Manhattan on October 19 & 20, 2015.

This year’s theme is Rethinking the Future of Food. We will look at what’s in front of us through three powerful lenses: the future of the farm, the future of the kitchen, and the future of health.

We are very pleased to note the latest addition to the program: Tom Vilsack (pictured at right), Secretary of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Agriculture, who will deliver a keynote about The Future of the Farm on Tuesday, October 20, beginning at 9:55am.

Secretary Vilsack joins an impressive list of Food Conference speakers, such as James Beard Award–winning chefs José Andrés and Andrea Reusing; Nathan Myhrvold, author of Modernist Cuisine; Dr. Ellen Stofan, Chief Scientist of NASA; Paola Antonelli, Senior Curator, Department of Architecture and Design at MoMA; Rachel Laudan, Food Historian; and the 2015 JBF Leadership Award recipients.

Throughout the conference, we will explore how changes in science and technology and the principles of equity, innovation, and investment influence the choices that each of us makes today to create a better tomorrow for everyone.
